History
In 2012, Southern Arc announced its intentions to diversify away from its portfolio of Indonesian assets to protect and promote shareholder interests by acquiring or investing in undervalued mineral exploration opportunities in politically safe jurisdictions.
Southern Arc has since made strategic investments in Osisko Mining Inc., Japan Gold Corp., Tethyan Resources plc. (Adriatic Metals plc), PT Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk., and Rise Gold Corp.
Further to the Company’s revised business strategy, Southern Arc divested of its portfolio of Indonesian assets and maintained three Net Smelter Royalty Agreements with the buyers to preserve exposure to the projects’ potential upside.
