Vancouver, B.C.: Southern Arc Minerals Inc. (TSXV: SA) announces that it has issued 210,000 common bonus shares to its Indonesian consultants, geologists and field personnel. The bonus shares are being issued in recognition of the services and performance of the Company's staff on behalf of the Company in connection with its Indonesian mineral properties. The bonus shares will be subject to hold periods pursuant to which 1/3 of the shares will become freely tradable on July 24, 2008, 1/3 on January 24, 2009 and 1/3 on July 24, 2009.
