Southern Arc Reveals Lemonga Results
Southern Arc Minerals has announced the results from its drilling programme in Indonesia.
The firm has been engaged in a phase two drilling programme at the Lemonga Prospect on Sumbawa Island.
Extensive explorations have offered some promising results, with a number of holes posting double-digit gram per tonne returns. Southern Arc concentrated on a number of different areas in its investigations, including shallow CSAMT anomalies near silicified hydrothermal breccia sub-crops and sheeted vein complexes.
In addition, deep explorations around the perimeter of the known gold producing area were made in a bid to ascertain whether further investigations should take in a wider area.
These holes seemed to prove that the area to the north of the Dessy Vein region is not worth continued exploration although forthcoming trenching will confirm this.
Some 40 diamond core holes drilled a total of 5,655.50 metres during the second stage of the process.
