July 21, 2011 – Vancouver, BC – Southern Arc Minerals (TSX-V: SA) (“Southern Arc” or the “Company”) will hold a Special Shareholder Meeting in Toronto on September 22, 2011, to be followed by an investor information session with an update on exploration activities at Southern Arc’s portfolio of projects as well as the Company’s long-term business plan.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Hôtel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square (75 Bremner Boulevard, Toronto) from 10:00am to 1:00pm. To increase accessibility for Southern Arc’s shareholders, the meeting will be live broadcast and open for participation online and by phone.
